  1. Very excited to be seeing the three of you on the screen again. I know the focus will be on the younger members of that cast but hope you guys will get your share of action too. I have been a die hard Dallas fan since I was in Middle School (don't mean to date any of us) and recently have purchased their series on DVD. I myself am now a 45 years old Los Angeles educator. Best of luck to all of you and can't wait for the show!!!

  2. OMG GREAT! I am around the age of the person who previously left a comment... HOWEVER the series will TANK if they do NOT equally focus with as much of the ORIGINAL cast as possible. We ALL want to know what happened to Sue Ellen, J.R., Bobby, Pam, Cliff, Donna et all. Hope they are doing some fantastic writing with all kinds of potential doors to open. At least Imdb has you, Larry, & Patrick listed thus far. But Pam we need Victoria too...lol

  3. Hi Linda,

I am so glad to see you back on TV again. I used to work next door to your husband Ed Thrasher, working for Denny Lidtke. You brought me a signed picture, but I was absent that day, and heard Beverly Lidtke kept it. That was fine as I had too much to drink from the Christmas party where I met you at Capitol records. I'm the one who followed you upstairs while you were talking to Mr. Lidtke. I'm 57 years old now and don't drink much anymore. I've changed for the better, I hope, and now live in Tennessee.

  4. Hello. Linda, you are the reason I tuned into Dallas. Growing up among socialites in Atlanta I found your performance of Sue Ellen to be spot on. The mannerisms, the walk the accent in the early years and of those unforgettable eyes. Even when you were in the background, and your character was not the focus of the sorry, it was hard not to notice you. Your eyes have a magical way. Of course the way you were written added to my amusement. I was always queries what your relationship with Victoria was like. I'm sure it was professional, but I got a sense that maybe both of you being beautiful with strong egos made it a little interesting sometimes. I really wish that you and Victoria would make a public appearance together. It would draw a big crowd. Maybe, we can get you on the final season of Oprah or Pierce Morgan. Well, just like you, I have "enormous responsibilities " and I have to tend to my daughters of the American Revalution-mettins.

  7. Read the other day that the new Dallas show is not going to be on until the summer of 2012 for ten episodes. Great news but will we have to wait all that time to see the pilot?

  14. Linda, my mom and I watched Dallas religiously in the 1980s. We would have lengthy discussions anticipating what was going to happen next to each character. The love of the show prompted us to travel to Dallas to see the Ewing Ranch in the mid 1980s. My question to television producers regarding the new Dallas show is..."What took you so long?"

  19. I'm sorry that you lost your best friend, the incomparable Larry Hagman!

He was and always be a great man, actor and a beautiful soul!

    God rest his soul!

It's great that Larry always had his family and his close friends with him and that he was loved, appreciated and admired by so many people, like all of you, actually. And would be forever!

Best regards to you, Linda, to your family, to Larry's family and to Patrick Duffy and his family!

  20. Ms. Gray
Your performance at J.R.'s graveside was beautiful and heartbreaking. I am certain that you wanted to pay tribute to Larry Hagman with your performance, and, Lordy, you knocked it out of the ballpark! My hope is that you will win an Emmy for it. I bet that is just what Mr. Hagman would want. Best of luck to you, Ms. Gray, and thank you for all of your contributions to the human spirit through your acting, your activism, and your shining example of how to live a decent, meaningful life.

  21. Dear Linda Gray,

I'd like to share something with you. In 2007 my mother who was 76 at the time came to live with me in Dallas due to her health. That year I DVR'd ever single episode of the original Dallas. My mother and I would watch one episode right after another from the 1st show to the last. We could not get enough of it. It was so great to refresh our minds with where we were in our own lives when during the episodes we remembered. It made us close again. We loved the characters Miss Ellie and Jock, and of course JR and especially you and Bobby.

I remember my mom saying when all those episodes wrapped up and there were no new old episodes to watch anymore she said. I bet you anything they bring that show back and I probably wont be around but when they do I am gonna be right beside you watching everyone from the other side.

I have not missed a single episode of the new show and I am just as hooked as I was as a kid and as watching old reruns of the original show. You all are like family! Bravo to you all for being the Ewings for us. It is something really special.

When Larry Hagman passed away I went to the memorial service at Southfork being a Dallas resident I had to go as I felt so drawn. Anyways if you ever hear about the fat old guy that cut in line in front of hundreds of people to sign the Memorial book tell them I am sorry. I had new glasses!

I am a true fan and thanks for doing what you do.

    David Walden
